And the Earth Stood Still

My favorite shot I've ever taken. It's of my girlfriend and I out taking cute pictures together the other day. (She's an amazing photographer too, you should check her work out.

Anyway, since we both love taking pictures, we go on little photo outings together and both bring our cameras and gear. She picked out this beautiful field for some pictures she wanted to take and after she was done she asked if I had any ideas I wanted to try, and I shot one quick series of shots and this was my favorite of them.

I took it into lightroom to work with the colors and contrast a little bit and to crop it the way I wanted, then it was on to PS to bring out the clouds that were washed out in the sky and to correct some distracting highlights in one of the clouds.
